07 Days Etosha Photographic Safari

Our 7 Day Etosha photographic safari is the down pat photo safari inside Etosha National Park. Etosha Park is the most diverse park in Namibia. The park is home to a large number of mammals and birds and is ideal for photography. It is ideal for beginners and for more professional photographers. The contrasting colors of the park and the diverse ecosystem allow for excellent captures. The main camps have floodlit watering holes and allow for night photography.

Day 1-2; Windhoek – Etosha National Park – Onguma

We will depart the capital of Namibia, Windhoek at 07:30 am this morning and take our journey past Okahandja, Otjiwarongo, and Outjo towards the Etosha National Park. This day is a transit day of introductions and a change of landscapes on the route towards Etosha Park. Our entry point to the park will vary according to our seasons. We will have time for on-road lunch and a final briefing on what to prepare and expect on your Etosha Photographic Safari. The first afternoon will allow us to experience our first game drive. The following day we will start our morning at the photographic hide. The afternoon will be our first introduction inside the Etosha Park.

Day 3-6; Photographic Safari in Etosha National Park

We spent the next four days exploring the Wildlife and Birdlife of Etosha National Park. Our Base camp is set inside the park and allows us to explore the watering holes and vast open landscapes of Etosha Park. Our guide will be introducing some of the critical aspects of animal and bird behavior and allow us to capture this with our cameras.

On Day 6 in Etosha;

Our final day of game drives is inside the Etosha National Park. This day we will sleep either at Okaukuejou or just outside the gate, depending on the accommodation availability.

Day 7; Etosha National Park – Windhoek

Our Etosha Photo Safari is coming to an end, and we will take our final transfer towards our starting point again. We depart the park with great memories and hopefully, some fantastic wildlife experiences captured on our cameras. This is another transit day back to Windhoek.
