Another yet exciting 4 days gorilla trekking and lakeBunyonyi safari to Bwindi impenetrable national park for gorillas and lake Bunyonyi known as the lake with tiny little birds. Trek down a habituated gorilla family in the jungles of Bwindi with an opportunity of having a selfie with the gorillas and after your gorilla trek drive down to Lake Bunyonyi Africa’s second deepest lake with a thousand islands, relax and have a chance to swim in this Bilhazia free lake and then call off your safari.
Our driver picks you early morning at your place of stay after breakfast, and briefs you about this trip before you start your drive southwards. Drive via the Kampala MasakaMbarara highway and have a stop at Igongo cultural center in Mbarara for a yummy lunch. This route rewards you with a beautiful country side of green, expect to see zebras and impalas while driving past Lake Mburo national park and the long horned cattle of Ankole. Continue your driver after lunch and reach Bwindi in the evening. Check in your lodge, relax, dine out and have a stay.

This is the day you have been waking for your entire life. Wake up to a hearty breakfast early morning, get onto your safari vehicle to the park headquarters for a briefing at 8am. Here you will be briefed about the gorilla trekking rules, get allocated to a gorilla family you’re going to trek and head out to the forest with an experience UWA guide. On finding your family, sped an hour with them, see them interact, juveniles playing and see the much love between the family. After the one hour come back from the trek which can last for over a quarter of your day.
Get back to your lodge and relax off your evening

After your breakfast, drive to lakeBunyonyi where you will canoe on this lake with a thousand islands, visit punishment island where girls who got pregnant before marriage would be thrown to starve to death because of what they had done. Have lunch in the afternoon and choose to swim in this Bilharzia free lake.
Call off your day with a delicious diner in the evening, sleep and have an overnight stay.

After your breakfast drive back to Kampala and have a drop off to your place of choice or the airport to catch your flight back home. You will have stop at the equator for a pictorial moment, lunch and later continue to Kampala arriving in the evening.
