8-Day Tanzania Mid-Range Safari Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Materuni Waterfalls Adventure

Experience the adventure of a lifetime with an 8-day Tanzania safari exploring the country’s most iconic wildlife parks and natural attractions. This unforgettable journey takes you through the famous northern safari circuit, including the spectacular Tarangire National Park, the legendary Serengeti National Park, the breathtaking Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and the beautiful Materuni Waterfalls.

Your safari begins in Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. The journey starts with a game drive in Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Visitors often encounter lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and numerous bird species, especially along the Tarangire River, which attracts animals during the dry season.

The adventure continues to the endless plains of Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. The Serengeti is renowned for its incredible predator populations and the spectacular Great Migration. During exciting game drives, travelers have the opportunity to witness the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino—along with cheetahs, hyenas, and countless antelope species roaming freely across the savannah.

Another highlight of the safari is a visit to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” this vast volcanic caldera is home to a dense concentration of wildlife, offering one of the best chances in Africa to see the endangered black rhino, as well as lions, elephants, hippos, flamingos, and many other animals.

The safari concludes with a relaxing cultural and nature experience at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro near Moshi. Here, you will explore the lush landscapes leading to Materuni Waterfalls, where visitors can hike through coffee plantations, learn about the traditions of the Chagga people, and enjoy the refreshing beauty of one of Tanzania’s most scenic waterfalls
