Day 1; Arrival, Transfer to Arusha town.

Upon your arrival, pick up and transfer to Arusha town for dinner and overnight. Depends on your arrival time possible to get a guide for walking in Arusha City.

Day 2; Safari game drive Lake Manyara National Park

Lakes and lookouts, hippos and happy adventuring

You only need to open your eyes and walk to the restaurant to enjoy the expansive views of Lake Manyara; the National park you will be exploring for the day. After breakfast your driver-guide will take you to the entry gates of Lake Manyara, an underestimated gem as far as game parks are concerned.

Day 3; Safari Drive to Serengeti

Countryside landscapes and road-tripping en route to Serengeti

Today you have a long and rewarding drive ahead of you, as you make your way from Lake Manyara region, through the Ngorongoro Conservation area and into Serengeti National Park. The road will take you through the Maasai homeland, the only tribespeople permitted to live in the Conservation area.

Day 4-5; Safari game drive Serengeti
Northern area & Mara river

Stunning Serengeti and the miracle of the great migration

Today is a good day for an early rise because you will head north from Ikoma before crossing into the Serengeti National Park. It’s going to be an action-packed day, with the sighting of the great migration as the ultimate reward. Today you head to the Mara river, approximately 3 hours drive from the camp. The Mara river is well known for the Wildebeest crossing.

Day 6; Safari game drive Serengeti
Central area & Seronera

Seronera & the best of the big cats

After a good breakfast at Africa Safari Serengeti Bologonja, you will depart on your adventure back towards Africa Safari Serengeti Ikoma. This game drive leads you through the Seronera area, the heart of Serengeti National Park. Be amazed by the vast plains and the enormous amount of wildlife that can be seen here, and start counting the Big Five.

Day 7; Serengeti – Ngorongor0
& Visit Maasai boma Ngorongoro

New day, new possibilities and endless new animals to be spotted across Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park. Serengeti is always filled with adventure and new discoveries; no two days are the same in this massive park. Today you will cross these famous plains and pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation area.

Overnight; Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge

Day 8; Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Waking up early in the morning, drive down to the Ngorongoro Crater. Here you can do a game drive inside the crater. It is the only place in Tanzania you could spot the Black Rhino, among all other big and small game animals. Lunch will take place at the picnic site on the crater floor.

Overnight; Farm of Dream Lodge

TRANSFER TO AIRPORT

After breakfast, drive to Kilimanjaro Airport to catch a flight to Zanzibar. Check into your beach hotel or resort, and the rest of the day is yours to relax at leisure.
