Day by Day Plan
Day 01: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
In the morning, meet & greet in Arusha with your professional guide. Drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Your guide will open the pop-up roof so you can directly observe the wildlife. The park stretches 50 km along the Rift Valley escarpment wall and Ernest Hemingway once described the views as “the most stunning” he had ever seen. In the late afternoon drive up the Rift Valley and stop at the scenic viewpoint before proceeding to your accommodation.

Day 02: Rift Valley / Karatu – Central Serengeti
Get an early start for the journey to Serengeti National Park. The drive will take you through the highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Soon you will reach the short grass plains of Serengeti National Park with a first game drive taking place in the afternoon.

Day 03 – 05: Northern Serengeti National Park
Wildebeest Crossing Safari; In the morning proceed further north and you will reach the legendary Mara River by the afternoon –with game drives en-route. Between July and October, thousands of wildebeests will gather at the Mara River waiting for the perfect time to cross. Of course, large Nile crocodiles already lie in wait as the wildebeests cross the river. And such predators as cheetahs, leopards and lions are ready to pounce as the migration crosses their territory.

Day 06: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater Rim / Karatu
After an early breakfast and a spectacular sunrise, you will proceed to Naabi Hill Gate. Exit Serengeti National Park and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater Region. Enjoy the first glimpse into the Ngorongoro Crater before driving to your accommodation located directly at the crater rim or in Karatu.

Day 07: Ngorongoro Crater Tour
Wake up early and proceed to the road that descends into Ngorongoro Crater! The crater was formed two million years ago during a volcanic eruption. Due to the permanent availability of freshwater, it supports a large variety of animals. Bird-life is plentiful and includes seasonal flocks of flamingos at Lake Magadi. Proceed to Karatu to overnight.

Day 8; Ngorongoro Oldean – Arusha
