Day 1; Arrival Day

Welcome to Tanzania! Soon as you arrive in Arusha, you will be picked up from the airport by your private driver and be escorted to your hotel. Relax for the rest of the day.

Optional: To avoid long drive, it is possible to take a scheduled flight directly to Serengeti National Park then drive or fly back to Arusha.

Day 2; Arusha – Tarangire

At 08:30 AM, you will be picked up by your experienced safari guide, onward drive to Tarangire National Park. As Tarangire is renowned as “home of elephants”, you would be able to track herds of elephants gathered around the Tarangire River – the heart of the migration in Tarangire and Lake Manyara region. Also to be found at this park are giraffes, lions, and even tree-climbing pythons. Enjoy a full day safari here.

In the evening, you will be driven to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3; Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

Wake up early today, you will be driven directly to Serengeti National Park. The drive takes about 3.5 hours. Enroute you will have a chance to stop at Ngorongoro Crater for a panoramic picture.

Serengeti National Park is the most famous national park in East Africa for its vast short grass plains, diversity of animals, and the grand migration of wildebeests and zebras! Here you can do half day safaris, before being escorted to your hotel at the heart of Serengeti.

Day 4; Full Day in Serengeti

Wake up early today to see a beautiful sunrise over the endless plains of Serengeti! After breakfast, you will do a full day game drive in Serengeti, tracing Big Five, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinoceros, and other floras and faunas. The game drive continues until sunset when you drive back to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5; Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation.

Half-day game drive in Serengeti, this will start from early in the morning until lunchtime when you will drive to Ngorongoro Conservation for dinner and overnight.

Visiting Olduvai George is a possibility to stop on the way to Ngorongoro depends on the time, advised by your safari guide.

Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge

Day 6; Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Waking up early in the morning, drive down to the Ngorongoro Crater. Here you can do a game drive inside the crater. It is the only place in Tanzania you could spot the Black Rhino, among all other big and small game animals. Lunch will take place at the picnic site on the crater floor.

In the afternoon, drive to Kilimanjaro Airport to catch a flight to Zanzibar. Check into your beach hotel or resort, and the rest of the day is yours to relax at leisure.
